Sigrid had her hair lightened. I used to do this too. When hair is ash blond is darkens over time. Lightening it boosts your confidence.
I try to feed the birds even when my knee hurts. I see lots of little wrens. I have Cardinals and woodpeckers. Not so many Blue Jays.
I hurt my knee night before last while asleep. It feels like something is caught in it. Nothing knocks the pain. I got up at 4:30. At least, I can walk without the walker. It was nicer yesterday and I wanted to work outside but my knee said “no”.
I was thinking of books I really enjoyed reading and the series by Elizabeth Stout about Olive Kitteridge was really good if you haven’t read them. I’m still reading the Boleyn Traitor. I am reading it at a slow pace. I read after going to bed and just a few chapters.

I'm so sorry you hurt your knee! I hope it improves since it wasn't an overuse injury. I've heard of that store, but we don't have any here. I do pick up at Albertsons and love it. The Olive Kitteridge series is one of my favorites; I enjoy the way she writes. Her characters are fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI just got back from Aldi. Save all your receipts because if you have something that you do not like they will refund if you have a receipt. I bought a trail mix there it was so salty we could not eat it and yes I had thrown the receipt away! I buy fruit there nearly every week. Gene did not like their cereal. Frozen vegetables are 99cents up here and they were good, I also buy cracker cuts of cojack and gouda cheese for lunch:) Oh Sigrid is beautiful whatever the color of her hair! Do you need a knee brace for that knee? I have not read the Kitteridge books. I am reading a book by Michael Haig A Life Impossible...not sure about it yet..I started it last June and set it aside, so now is the time to finish it. Thrift books order came yesterday...Fever 1793 was one of the books I chose...I am anxious to read it! Hang in there some days Gene and I wonder what use we are anymore and how much longer we have to stick around:)
