Another Blast

I shoveled snow all day yesterday. Well, really, I shoveled ice.  Laura tried it too, she hit herself in the head with the shovel. Thankful to R. D.  Walker  and C & D Drug for giving her a tetanus shot.

Sigrid is having pain in a wisdom tooth and her car is stranded in the snow in my yard. She’ll go to an oral surgeon next week.

Another blast of winter is on its way and most of this is still here. Another day is here to endure. I didn’t have to carry water to my chickens yesterday because the above freezing temps made some puddles of water.

After Larry passed a friend sent me this picture of us she had. A surprise new picture always makes me happy.

  1. Jeepers! I thought Laura was dressed for Halloween. She has bright red blood. (I'm a retired RN; I notice that stuff.) Glad she got her shot. Let's be more careful in Arkansas! Linda in Kansas

  2. Wow, Laura is a trouper to smile like that! Blood doesn't bother me either but some people would freak out. Sorry for the inclement weather, ugh. Ours has warmed up and is rainy. We need a happy medium.
