Weekend

Looks like I have a cat. I saw him/ her near the chicken pen. Maybe catching a mouse. I live some distance from neighbors but the cat might belong to one of them. The cat 🐈‍⬛ is a pretty one.

I think many workers have a weak end by weekend!

I have these jonquils blooming. They have twin blooms on each stem.




 I requested these books from my library. It’ll take some time but Kevin my librarian will eventually get each for me.  The first one is fiction but I heard it was very good.i have trouble finding books to read. I can read historical fiction. I can’t get into science fiction or fantasy.

    Cats do like to wander and they're great hunters. Very useful animals. They used to be used on ships and still are in distilleries to keep the mouse/rat population down. Theo of Golden is our next book club read; I have it ordered at three libraries and may not get it in time. I've heard great and not-so-great reviews of it. (too religious, preachy, corny) Since I would prefer an uplifting, feel-good book right now, I'm excited to read it, even if I have to buy it.

    I hope that cat is not looking for a chicken dinner! I like historical fiction the best. I like books that are fun to read. Being in a book club has expanded my reading habits:)

    I'm waiting for the Kindle copy of Project Hail Mary. I'm on the 6th month list at our library.
