Clayton and Sigrid are back to school today. I’ve been thinking about them.
Ada is drawing Greta during church. I often took things like this for Sigrid to do during Church.
Even though, it’s really hot my purslane looks very good in the morning. In the afternoon all the blooms close up. 99 again today.
Erin weeded her front flower beds and found a friend— we call them Garter snakes. They are harmless but often will startle you. The rhyme about colored snakes is…red touches yellow, kill a fellow!

ReplyDelete99, wow! Our teachers go back tomorrow for some professional development, and the school year will be starting in a week or two. I don't envy my colleagues having that change over from a summer schedule to a working one. August used to be like a month of Sunday nights! We have garter snakes around here and they are cool, but can surprise you.
