As I was driving west on I-40 yesterday I looked longingly at Petit Jean Mountain, thinking I should turn off the highway and take a hike there. It is truly a wonder, a natural wonder, a wonderful place.
I didn't turn off the road though. Maybe I'll take that hike on christmas day.
