Whatever it is it's ugly. I've seen some trees around here similiar to that.
Truly, cancer isn't pretty.
You have such a thought provoking blog and I know what you were conveying with this post - having got a friend for whom this will be her last Autumn because of the illness.
I agree....cancer is mean and scary and not fair. I have always said that but when cancer hit my family it became even meaner and uglier.
