Our big Sweet Gum tree is not hardly as pretty this year. The yellow tree between the two Gums is a Syamore. It will end up being a really tall tree. I don't like them in the yard, but in the pasture they are pretty.
remember how the guinea roosted in the tall sycmore at home? we never was able to kill any to eat because they roosted in those tall trees and we never could find the nests to eat the eggs.
Is that a recent picture...I am surprised all of the trees on the hill are not turning yet
ReplyDeleteI like the sweet gums also but those little sticker balls are AWFUL!
