Like a bird on a wire
Like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free.
Leonard Cohen
Why would a bird perch on a little
wire...when they could hide in a tree?
'Cause they want to see and be seen
And be able to fly a path open and free!
Live your life like a bird on a wire!
These birds look like notes waiting to scatter and become a song. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteMaybe with two more lines with birds upon them, we would have the whole flock singing Leonard Cohen? Nothing could be better than that!
ReplyDeleteGood catch.
Beautiful! Photo and words!
ReplyDeleteI love Leonard Cohen and I love your birds on a wire!
ReplyDeleteThey look cold
ReplyDeleteCute sister! I'd fall off and bust my head.
ReplyDeleteI am glad I am not standing under those wires. Nice shot. I bet those birds are singing some pretty tunes.
ReplyDeleteAnd when they wheel in flight, it is like seeing one big bird!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture AND the poem.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnd a great way of living! :)
Happy weekend.
A great shot!
ReplyDeleteIt seems they like it to be together, what kind of birds are they?
ReplyDeleteI almost use my photos of the starling on a wire this week but instead chose the sunset. . . I find it amusing how they flock to wires and then scatter and land again.
ReplyDeleteLove this post!! That poem is fantastic!!!! And Great skywatch shot!!!
