Henry Powell's Obituary



Fleta, this was written in the 1930s.  I think it helps prove that John Powell did not make it home from Civil War, but perished.

    It does not say his father died, it says he was left fatherless. Maybe his father ran away to California with a woman he met in Louisiana.

    I have wondered...as that happened usually it was Texas.
