Watchman

This was my sunset last evening. My phone photo doesn’t capture  how beautiful it actually was. We have to be a watchman to catch the sunset.  From start until it disappears over the horizon is just minutes. I hope I can be watchful of other pleasing moments in my life. If not, the time will pass unnoticed and not even felt. Yes, I don’t just see a spectacular sunset I feel it too.

I am reading The Watchman and I like it. The scene is South Dakota and most of the characters are Chippewas Indians.  Then I  have a book Connie recommended—All the Colors in the Dark. I’m making the sage and pink baby blanket and have kitchen towels to make for Erin.

I went to vote yesterday and paid my car insurance for the next 6 months. Weekend is upon us. February is about over. I will lift weights today, do my home exercises, and ride my bike 30 minutes,

What beautiful skies! We don’t see much of a sunset here too many trees and houses. Town. But back at home in the woods I can’t see because of the trees either! You are keeping busy!

Your sunset skies are amazing! Like your prior commenter, we have too many huge trees to see the full sunset. We read the Erdrich book in Book Club and mostly enjoyed it. I preferred "The Round House" though. I haven't read the other; I think it's long? We try to stay under 400 pages for our BC reads.

Beautiful sunsets! One easy way to grab them is to know the time, and stand out there a few minutes before to catch the sinking rays and sun, and a few minutes during and after to catch the actual sun going down and subsequent rays. Usually about 10 minutes total. Linda in Kansas
