After I finished mowing, I felt like resting like the donkeys.
I have several friends who have passed away. Mary Bourne gave me this plant many years ago. I think of her when it blooms. It’s called a money plant. In the fall it’ll have a glassy round seed appear the size of a half dollar. The purple blooms are pretty too.
Erin’s azaleas are blooming. I kill azaleas so I have given up on them. I think they are beautiful and have purchased several over the years. Once I planted an entire garden of them. They all died. I kill mums too. 😄

I figure that the weather or ground conditions kill my outdoor plants, not me. Is that just an excuse? I miss the special flowers at my mom and dad's house; there were so many memories tied up in them. Now that we don't own the house, I've lost that connection.
Your yard looks so nice and green! So fun to see the donkeys resting! I have given up on blooming plants outside, if they bloom fine, if they die fine.
