Finally Rain

I have walked in rain for the last two mornings.  Finally, the earth has a drink.  Galla Lake and pond are collecting water 💦.

Astrid teaches HIIT at Focus Fitness on top of her nursing duties! She said, “Gigi, we’re going to work on your muscle strength”!  We are three generations working to be strong women—mind, body and soul♥️

I made it through the workout with 6 pound weights.  I satin a chair for the core exercises that were done on the floor.  I have trouble getting up and down.  Astrid worked the routine especially for me—no jumping!  HIIT stands for high intensity interval training.  Astrid just teaches one Saturday a month so I may get to try it again in December ❤️

 

Redo

Astrid tired of her blue end table in her spare bedroom and painted it white.  The picked up the lamp at a resell shop for 10$ I think she said.  The lamp reminds me of Momma.  She liked the globe lamps.

She bought this corner hutch without class.  She had chicken wire in it but she decided she wanted glass. She got glass at hobby lobby.  It gave the hutch a sharper look.

Can’t Sleep

It rained yesterday.  We really needed it.  I put on my green rain gear and walked in the drizzle.  A hawk came and killed two of my chickens so I have what I have left locked up and they’ll have to stay in the pen. I cleaned the coop and hen nests today.  I worked on the outside.  I covered holes so it will be warmer this winter.

I can tell there is less daylight.i can’t sleep. I woke today at 3:30 and the day before that 4.  If you can sleep all night you are blessed.

Went to eye Dr. No cataract surgery for another year.  

Laura puts food in my mailbox and when I walk I pick it up.  Today was egg roll in a  bowl.  It was very good.  I’ll have to bring plants in soon.  I think I need a plant light.
