I took mine back to the store and got a refund, Mike did get Samonela from just eating a little bit - we heard about it several days after he was over his
I was looking all this mess up this weekend & from what it sounds like they dont actually have a jar that has salmonella in it!! When they conducted the interviews with the patients that REALLY had salmonella the common denominator among them all was that they had all ate Peter Pan & Great Value peanut butter. So what the heck?!! I had just baked peanut butter cookies the other day...I threw them out..just the thought of it. I have been eating out of one of the other jars too & my son ate from the samll jar but not now! I'm taking mine back to wal-mart when I go again. What really ticks me off about all of this is that there seems to be nuthin for sure about the source of the bacteria!! Unless they have come up with somethin since yesterday morn....they aint found none in the cottin-pickin peanut butter...just a common thing they have all ate. If I was conagra foods & they didn't grow out salmonella from one of those jars...well A law suit would just be minor!!! I love Peter pan but now I will always wonder..... Aint that some junk!! I LOVE...I CRAVE PEANUT BUTTER!!! SS3 I wish I hadn't come here tonite....Now I want a darn peanut butter sandwich & a glass of milk soo bad!!!!
I think it said on conagra foods web site that you could bring the whole jar back. My smallest jar has the lot number on the side of the jar instead of the lid. So I'm going today to take all 3 jars back. I'll let you know.

You mail the lids in
ConAgra
PO box 57078
Irvine CA 92619-7078
Mail them in or not but do not eat them.....I think it made some of my Grandkids sick....Or if you want to eat it don't let anyone else....
You should get your money back on them but don't eat the peanutbutter. You never know which jars are contaminated so don't take the chance.
Get rid of them!!!! Annie
I was just playin' with you all.

I'm so glad you weren't seriously considering keeping it around. You had me going, Sister Three.
I have one jar with over half of it gone. I kinda think it's safe, but I won't be buying that brand for a while.
