Can’t Sleep

It rained yesterday.  We really needed it.  I put on my green rain gear and walked in the drizzle.  A hawk came and killed two of my chickens so I have what I have left locked up and they’ll have to stay in the pen. I cleaned the coop and hen nests today.  I worked on the outside.  I covered holes so it will be warmer this winter.
I can tell there is less daylight.i can’t sleep. I woke today at 3:30 and the day before that 4.  If you can sleep all night you are blessed.
Went to eye Dr. No cataract surgery for another year.

Laura puts food in my mailbox and when I walk I pick it up.  Today was egg roll in a  bowl.  It was very good.  I’ll have to bring plants in soon.  I think I need a plant light.

I've been sleeping somewhat better lately, but I've started taking Lexapro a couple weeks ago as I always do around November; so that may be helping. Also, when we get back on regular time, I usually sleep better.

Sorry about your poor chickens. I hope you can find a solution to your sleep problems. My husband says Melatonin helps him. I am always sleepy...so usually not a problem sleeping.

I take melatonin, gaba, vit. D, and magnesium at night. Still wake up early. Time changes this weekend maybe that’ll help.

I take those same things, minus the magnesium, and have trouble too.
