October Monday

Greta won athlete of the game in a recent volleyball game. She won a t-shirt. The insurance angency that sponsors the award is owned by Todd McKinney. He is my 2nd cousin once removed and Erin’s 3rd cousin. I liked the volleyball site and watch for Greta’s picture. She in a Bible Study for Christian Athletes here.

I burned the scraps from the barn door project yesterday.

I am wearing a brace but was able to walk to the pond yesterday. I also went to exercise class and rode my therapy bike 30 minutes.

The weeds are almost gone. The bottom picture is from my morning walk. I loved how the fog was coming up over the water. I’m glad I sprayed the weeds even though it was what really hurt my knee. Next year I won’t spray 5 loads in one day. I’ll space it out.

Laura had chicken noodle soup hanging on my mail box for my lunch. It was a good day. I’m going to Fleta’s tomorrow. I want to pay the grave stone place to add Helen’sdeath date to her stone. $200. I hate it when a person dies and there’s no date. Her kids will send or bring us some of her ashes.

Your pond looks good. Can you spray off of your Mule? That would be easier on your knee. I am glad you are going to visit Fleta. Sometimes when a stone is purchased engraving for death dates is included so check that out...it might save you some money.

I'm glad that your knee is better. You sound just like me! I think I have to finish a project in one go and nearly kill myself doing so. What a wonderful gift on your mailbox. It's getting to be soup weather around here. And chili! Love the fog on the pond, very atmospheric.
