Well, round one is past. Got water dripping from all my pipes. Electric still on. I have a heat pump so if electricity goes off I have no heat. No sheet of ice under this. We are to have 10 days of extreme cold and more snow or sleet until tomorrow.
Here is Officer Short with his dough cover. I knew him as a 6th grader. Looks different. He said that he has more feathers.
Lots of birds this morning. I filled all of the feeders yesterday. If a seed falls, there are birds on the ground getting the leavings. Thinking of all the homeless today.

I think of the homeless too; it must be brutal for them. I'm trying to remember if my furnace is gas or electric. I think gas? I'm not sure how it interfaces with the electric heat pump though. I'll have to ask John. Stay safe and warm! I would hate those temperatures. The sleet too!
What a nice snowfall you have! Hope you get to stay indoors and I bet you will melt in a week or so!
