Garden is plowed!

Our garden is plowed up but we need to get potatoes,
onions, etc. all in the ground. Maybe next week. This
week at school we gave the Iowa Test of basic skills.
I am pooped.

Your place looks wonderful, the garden and the house and the mountains all around. It's clear why you call it your little piece of heaven. Annie in Little Rock

My husband's sister lives in the red brick house. Our house is over the way, in the trees next to the Crow Mt. about an eight of a mile from here. I want to move to this meadow, though, one day.

I lived in the red brick, from 1982 until 83. Erin had ovarian cancer while we lived here. It has bad memories for me. Larry's mom lived here...she had brain cancer and died. I am afraid to live in the red brick. Glad I don't.

I want a new house in the meadow. I want it to look like a farm house. It will not have to be a big fancy house, just room for 2 folks and a spare bedroom so my little 'Rids' can come and spend the night.

The meadow has a view, a lake, a garden, trees...it is a dream.

Thanks for sharing - this does look like a beautiful setting and will be for you once you have your little slice of Heaven built there.
One would think that a testing week should be a piece of cake, but others do not realize how it zapps every part of your being - enjoy the weekend!

Betty, Thanks for visiting the Dogwalker! Help yourself to the picture of Hillbilly. I'm sure she wouldn't like it but apparently a lot of people see her in this vein! lol I pulled it off of Google Images.
