Celebrate

Eric cooked hamburgers and Laura made homemade ice cream and bought a sweet watermelon.  Then we set in Galla Meadow and watched fireworks all around us.  There are 100s of folks that set them off and we can see the show on all sides just sitting in our chairs.   Eric bought 20 bucks worth and the girls enjoyed them, but Astrid just set in the truck and watched.  She burned her finger with a sparkler once and that was it.  She learns fast!  She will be at a basketball camp next week at Greenwood and then the next week one at Morrilton.  She has practice in the morning and then some days goes to the High School in the afternoon for a session with the High School coach.  She loves sports and I hope this next year is a good one for her in all her sports--volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track!
