Old Pea Picker--Troy Vance

Troy sent this photo of the peas he gathered out of his patch.  The deer laid waste to ours and we could not water them.   What I like best about Troy's photo is the peas sheller.  He said it belonged to his father.  Probably cost about $200.00, but it makes the peas shelling an easy endeavor!  If I could grow the peas, I sure would want one!    I am wondering if Troy or Sherry picked these or was it a family affair!  Troy and Sherry live in Hawkins, TX!  They own several great Feist dogs!

Sisters, I got this on the wrong blog, but just left it. The peas sure are good on a cold day in the winter.
