Sleep and Silliness

A few weeks ago, I couldn’t lock my chicken coop ‘til 8:30, but last tonight they were on the roost at 8.  Days are getting shorter. Pink sky, my oh my!  The sky was so pretty.  A lot pinker than my picture.

I walked here yesterday really early—just at day’s light.  After I got back to the back porch, a drizzle of rain started.  It was very light and I doubted we would get enough to green the grass again.  But it continued until late in the after noon.  Everything was so thirsty for a drink.  I am surely thankful.

Laura starts back to school today.  Eric started last Wednesday. My Harrison kids start tomorrow.  Praying little Ada loves kindergarten.

I am sleeping fitfully.  I have tried so many things.  I’m out of hope to ever just sleep the night away ever again.

Nice sky! I am a good sleeper....so I rarely struggle to stay asleep. Sorry you are having a problem. My husband sometimes takes Melatonin, that works for him.

My watch tells me I've slept 5 hours for the last three nights.
