Trust and Obey

I took these two pictures on top of Mount Nebo from close to the same spot on different Sundays.  Some days I can’t get a clear picture of my future and I just have to continue my journey.  Trusting and obeying tha I will be delivered safely to my destination.  The days when everything is clear it’s easy but when I walk in a soupy fog, I’m not as confident.  Prayer is my defense, my help.  I find solace in the fact my Guide can see the future.

 

Duo Interpretation

 Sigrid and her friend, Ellie, won 2nd (debate) at Rogers Heritage.  She’s growing up too fast.  I don’t know what duo interpretation is!

Ada Coloring Her Dad

 Ada colors with either hand.  She said “l have a booboo.”  Clayton and Greta really baby her when she had a little hurt making her very aware of any little bump.

Ring Those Bells

 Greta Ann is sweet music to me.

Duck Duck Goose

 Astrid and Logan made one of Pop’s old dog houses into a floating duck house for his Galla Pond.  They have several ducks to enjoy this home.  Astrid said they had a long swim in the pond, but are resting inside their new home now.

Pumpkin Birthday

We celebrated Ingle’s 20 years with potato soup and pumpkin pie.  She received books and hair products plus melatonin as she has problems going to sleep and thus problems rising in the morning.  One of her books was “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn”.  I have read that. 

 

Drawing

 Clayton loves drawing.  Maybe he can be a draftsman.

Ingrid is 20.  Time blew like a whirlwind to this day.  Happy birthday❤️

Astrid’s Tree

 I helped Astrid take the stitches out of her puppy Corgi tails and snapped a picture of her pretty tree.  Isn’t it pretty?

Laura brought me a good taco salad for lunch.  I can’t cook anymore and love it when someone shares what they have cooked with me.  

I’m looking forward to warm weather tomorrow.  It’s supposed to be in the 70’s.  

Robert Dole passed.  Larry was kin to him.  I’m kin to Jimmy Carter.  Both seem like good people.  

Dona’s Cookies

 Dona Hamilton Harrison Hoff was born at Mt. Judea on Big Creek, on the Criner property in 1905. 

She was famous for her cooking and baking and one of the people's favorites was her Sugar Cookies. Everyone was always asking for the recipe.

When she passed away in 1998, the recipe was printed on the back of her funeral Memorial card.  Here it is for those of you who would like to try it. Nothing better than a few of these and a good cup of coffee at  your morning break.

 Ada doesn’t want to be in the movies, but after she got a snack she was in a better humor.  I like for Erin to send pictures often.   Guess Ada is tired of it.
