Stolen from Laura's Blog!!!Astrid won first place for the Keep Arkansas
Beautiful contest across the state. She received
a $50 gift card to wal-mart. She bought herself
and each of her sisters something. She is a darling
girl with a sweet spirit. Her picture will be in the
paper soon. The artwork will hang in the rotunda
of the Capitol building in April for Keep Arkansas
beautiful month and will be used for promotional
items. We are proud!!!!

She did a cute job - bet she's tickled pink to win the prize and have it hung on the wall of the state capital building. What an honor for a child.

Sister, if you tell me when it'll be at the Capitol building I'll go take a photo of it for my blog. Then you can show Astrid on the computer.

i am proud also , hope annie gets a photo for us. isn't she the one who likes puzzles. sent janet to the second hand store to get puzzles. i have never worked one. i thought it would give me some thing to do.
I will send them to her some day. also have a pile of cloth out and beginning to think of a quilt for erin.
Glad Erin will get a baby quilt, Patsy. Yes, Astrid loves puzzles and is very shy.
Annie, I will let you know when it is at the Capitol and maybe we can get a picture.
We thought her wanting to share with her sister was so special.
I hope Annie can get a picture of it I would love to be able to see it hanging there....She is so sweet....The best little girl...spending some of her money on her sisters
