I guess the best thing one can do for a childis teach them to think for themselves and
not just believe it because someone said it.
The Sisters Dad taught this lesson well. I
hope I have been able to teach my own two
to think for themselves. Following the piper
is worse today than 50 years ago...because
there are lots of pipers.

There are lots of people who think it is dangerous if children (or subordinates) are allowed to think for themselves. They might challenge, you know! Of course, there are other people who love a good discussion, who like to think and be around others who think. You must be one of the latter types, Sister. And all of us who read her blog know that Patsy is one of the latter types too.
It drives me crazy when adults do everything for a child.
