Keeping Kids Involved!

Several--not all--of Laura's speech clients have other handicaps.  These two have been sewing and as they work on their projects they practice their speech goals!  The older girl I think is the one with such large sized feet.  Laura scrounges (oh, My New Patsy that may not be a word)  around to find shoes for her.   Erin has given her several pairs.  You can tell that these two students are very proud of their accomplishments!  Laura and Eric have conferences today and tonight.  I will got to Sig's.
Look what I found in a book on the internet--Sister's sister poem.  It is a wonderful verse!

Gigi,
Scrounges may not be a word, but we use it. :) ~Amy-Patsy

Gigi,
I just had to research to see if scrounge is a word or not. It is a word in the English language but considered informal.

What does informal speech mean?

informal. If something's informal, it's casual and relaxed and doesn't follow any particular rules or conventions, whether that's a style of writing, or the dress code for your dinner party. ... Informal writing or speech is the linguistic equivalent of wearing jeans and a t-shirt, with a relaxed tone and simple words.

Now we know. lol
