Living With Sister

Sigrid came over to visit Sunday. Pop asked what she had been doing and she said making signs.  She has to leave for school at the crack of dawn whereas Ingrid remains home at least 45 minutes after Sig has left.  Eric wants to get to school early and prepare for his day. After school you are too tired to do anything.  After Sigrid leaves Ingrid raids her closet and chooses items to wear.  Sig said she was fed up so she posted warning signs.  She thinks buying lock may be the answer.  I love the elephant hanging there—meaning an elephant never forgets !

Saw this photo on FB.  Third from left is Asti and fourth is Laura.  They are working out at the St. Mary's Fitness Center.  Laura goes in the evening during the week as she gets to see how Astrid is doing and gets exercise.  If some children want to do the routines, Astrid gets to take them and go through the workout with them.  When Astrid isn't working and goes to the Center, she gets to clock in and get paid for the time she is there.   How neat!  If she managed to go an hour a day on  top of when she works, that would add up to 50 bucks for the week.  The local hospital owns this fitness center so Astrid is employed by the hospital.  She loves her job there.   Loves her supervisor.  Loves the atmosphere as she loves exercise.  Pop made her some bird houses and Laura said she was painting them over the weekend and putting them up in her yard!  Life is good.  Ingrid took the ACT again last week.  I hope she gets even an higher score!

How interesting! I remember living with my sister. She never hung anything up...just threw everything on the dressing table stool. Finally my stepfather decided to make me my own room out of what was left of the back porch. He knew I was neat and very frustrated with the way our room always looked. The old hot water tank closet was my new clothes closet.
