This riverboat is moving up Galla Creek from the Arkansas. It can not go far up the Creek you can see how small the Creek is, but it can make it's way up the channel a few 100 yards.
Did it come up the creek to pick you up and take you for a water-journey?
I want to know the "rest of the story".
I remember the teacher tests that were implemented in the 80's. Lots of my friends were teachers and I heard their take on the whole idea. They thought like you did. So I too thought the idea was silly and probably just a way to address the old myth that Arkansas is made up of barefoot and ignorant people (teachers, too?) After all, if they can pass a test they must know something, right? Of course teachers know there are lots of better ways to test knowledge than a rote test.
I imaging you're back at school in full swing now.
