The Goat

There was a man, who had a goat,
He lov'd that goat, indeed he did,
He lov'd that goat, just like a kid.

One day that goat felt frisk and fine,
Ate three red shirts from off the line.
The man he grabbed him by the back,
And tied him to a railroad track.

But when the train came into sight,
That goat grew pale and green with fright.
He heaved a sigh, as if in pain,
Coughed up those shirts and flagged the train.

Ada got her first shots today.  See the big band aides.

Double Portion

 Laura is cleaned up for a wedding of a colleague and Erin is taking good care of Ada.

Lord gave Larry and I a double portion with Laura and Erin. Nothing we earned just a gift.  We are so thankful.

Berries The Berry Pickers Picked

Two berry pickers picked a sack of berries for me! So far I have made cobbler and freezer jam. Pop paid for the berries the pickers picked. Ingrid said she did not look suitable so I will try to put her incognito!

Inspiration Point

 Erin took the children to S of O today and then on to Branson to swim.  This rock is called Inspiration Point.  I stood there in June 1968.  Winnie is there below about 1935.

When I went here we had to go to chapel Sunday and Wednesday.  We signed our name and put the paper in a box.  The Chapel was beautiful.  When I went to College here, students were enrolled from all over the world. I guess they were all Christians as it was a Presbyterian School.

Eric and Girls

 Eric and his girls went to silver dollar city.  They ride the rides.  Laura stayed home.  Arkansas teachers get a break on the price there in June.  I think Eric gets in free and the girls get half off.

Mount Nebo View

Ingrid and her friend wanted to see the River Valley flooding.  They went to Mt. Nebo where you can see “forever”.

 Greta is at another basketball camp.  This one is st mine and Dad’s old school.

I am going up Thursday to hold Ada.

Erin said Clayton helped his Dad make bullets today.  Greg mad3 a bunch and one guy bought all of them.  Seems they are popular bullets.

A Year of Growth

Erin took these last summer and this.  Kids have shot up.  I am trying to imagine Ada standing by them.
