Two Chicks See the Chicks

I remembered to go out at 7:40 and look up.  My eyes searched the sky.  I was about to give up and then…there it (Space Station)was like a star but it was moving across the sky.   I only was able to follow it a couple of minutes.  Thrilled  I was able to witness it passing by.  None of my pictures picked up it’s image

Astrid and Logan’s sister Whitley attended a “Chicks” concert.  Chick, chick!

My walk today was filled with melancholy.  The weather man—whose biggest qualification seems to be graduating from liar’s college—says it might rain next Thursday.   If it rains all week, I doubt it restores the beautiful fall color to my Tupelo Black Gums.  I know this is how the desert feels!  Our nights are cool almost cold, but our days are filled with sun and by late afternoon it’s hot.  🥲😢

My yard looks almost dead...no rain for so long. We are forecast for some rain two days this week. But I will believe it when I see it.

You wanted to know if the covid shot made me sick... I've had four shots now and never felt bad in any way afterward. My arm is sore, but I got the flu shot this time at the same appointment. The flu shot always makes my arm sore
