Forgotten Dreams

When I retired, I bought 12 day lilies and Larry fixed a garden for them.  They still bloom and are pretty.  Their name is forgotten dreams.  That’s why I chose them.  I gave up all my dreams then knowing the rest of my life would be lived out here in my meadow or a home care facility.  Growing up I had lots of dreams.  Most never came to fruition.  I’m not complaining about the life I’ve had but this was not one of my dreams.  Now, those day lilies are starting to give out.  They need transplanting.  I surrender to whatever is to come.

You need to thin them out and give some to your daughters and Granddaughters too! Maybe they will help you!
