Astrid posted the above photo with the placard that says—life is better with chickens. I guess existence is better when we have anything to distract our thoughts from self. When younger, I was caring for a family, cooking for those hungry, working where I had things I needed or had to do. If we’re not careful when we retire, we just think about ME and in doing so the focus is on our decline. I pray the Lord will help me to not take a selfie today but focus my lens on the world and people around me!
