Meadow Scenes

Scenes from the Meadow this week!  The grass is green again and each evening three does graze in the distance.  The Mockingbird took a bath and flew away revived.  When I open the chickens' gate, they fly and run joyfully catching bugs and eating green foliage.  They are thankful for their free range freedom.  My two roosters spar but live together each having his space.  Merle's mother is slick and beautiful.  Merle is growing into the horse she will become.  The moon was bright tonight and I was awed. Oh, how wonderful God's creation is.  We are a part of it all!

Wonderful scenes from the meadow. Love seeing all those chickens roaming around.

Chickens are so much fun. We have deer all around, but don't see them often. I do have horses across the fence to look at, and lately we've been seeing a flock of wild turkeys in the distance. The flowers in the garden draw a lot of butterflies, too. It's been a little cooler for a couple of days, which is wonderful.
