How We See Things

When a winter storm comes, I fret.  What if my heat goes out?  Water freezes and pipes burst?  One of my kinfolk has an accident traveling the snowy road!  It’s all useless thinking.  I see the glass going empty.  Others see the same glass still almost full.  Ada’s excitement about the wonders of the world is the exact opposite to my dread of it.  She jumped with joy when she saw the white that covered her yard.  She had hot chocolate in the morning and snow ice cream later.  I’m sure she wrapped up and went out and played in the snow.

Ada is so cute jumping for joy seeing the snow! I don't mind snow that means it is warmer, when it doesn't snow and it turns bitter cold that is no fun.
