Yellow Birds and Yellow Flowers

Last year,  I moved a bed of yellow irises and one is blooming.  Before they were almost in the pasture and weeds smothered them.

 I have had a Yellow Finch pair eating at my feeder this week.   Nothing prettier.

Sigrid had an orthodontist appointment today.  She did not want me to pick her up until 11 as she was "getting to cut up a sheep's eye" and she did not want to miss it.  What a girl!
