John Powell

Today I am building tree houses.  At ancestry, I am adding to our Powell tree.  John Powell married Mary Martin May 12, 1826 Mercer Co. KY .  He and our Henry Powell were only one year apart in age.  John moved to Missouri and then to Doniphan, Kansas.  John had a daughter Missouri Alice by his second wife Mary Jane Noble Sweeney.  I found her photo on Ancestry.  She died of fever before she reached the age of 20.  She was working as a dental assistant when she died.  She never married.

John's granddaughter named a son John Powell Bradley.  One of his Grandsons named a daughter Lettie Leah Powell.
