No Excuses

For two years, I have gotten out of cooking holiday meals with the excuse that the kitchen is too hard to deal with.  Larry has it done excepting a few pieces of trim.  I cooked Easter dinner and it was so easy.  The microwave above the stove gives me much more counter work space.  The plug ins here were old and had no ground wire spot....so I had to use those little gray adapters when I pulled anything in.  The counter was white linoleum stuff and it always looked dirty.  The edges had came loose and some had gray duct take holding it together.  One piece was hooped up as the glue had come loose from Ethel putting the hot canner there.  It was so nice cooking yesterday.  Laura made the rolls and two pies and I did the rest.  I missed Erin being here, but Greg worked all night and it would have been really hard for them to come here and also go to his parent's.

Picked the flowers from the yard.  Something in the bouquet smells so good. It really fills the entire kitchen with a sweet aroma!
