Out Of State Play

 This week Astrid has been in Alabama playing soccer for the Arkansas team of girls born in 2000.  She made friends from all over Arkansas!  She scored the goal to beat Texas.  I know that was great.

Eric took her there.  Pop and Laura went to pick her up.  They left at 2 in the morning after Brother's funeral.  Took turns driving, picked her up, took turns driving back.  Astrid told me today that they were held up near Little Rock because of a bad wreck.  I think they sat for way over an hour.  Astrid said "finally Pop made his own exit...left the Interstate on an entry way! and he took another way home".  Pop has the will and he will make a way!
