All in a Name

 My Sigrid’s name is not common.  It fits her.  Sigrid /ˈsiːɡrɪd/ is a Scandinavian given name for women from Old Norse Sigríðr, composed of the elements sigr "victory" and fríðr "beautiful".  So Sigrid means beautiful victory.  She’s a winner, I think.
