Say Hay

The Meadow grass is about gone.  If you’re going to have animals, you have a responsibility to care for them.  Logan and Astrid bought winter hay today.  The horses and Johnny and June have food now.  The smell of the hay brought back many childhood memories.  Aroma was like sweet perfume!

Astrid came wheeling the big trailer and Logan rode the tractor over.  They used the tractor and placed the hay under Pop’s side shed.  We think it will stay really dry there.

The hay is Bermuda grass and was grown close to the ArkansasRiver.

It’s really nice hay.  Price was $10.00 a bale.

The hay doesn't have much color. Is it all dried out? Or is it just the photo?
