Moving Bushes
I am moving bushes. This one was by the drive.....crowding everything. It is one of the ones Fleta said was not a Forsythia but she does not know everything for it is a Forsythia. Anyhow, I am going to have to move it again. I dug the hole with a shovel and it is not deep enough. Larry will dig a new hole with the back hoe so it will all be in the ground. I moved a Rose of Sharon and a another bush which I call a yellow sticker bush and he is going to have to dig holes better for them too! I am loving working outside. Rain tomorrow but I need to get going today. I want to paint my chicken house red....Have a good day Sisters and Erin, Clayton, Greg, and girls!

Health Care Bill PASSED
Well, the Health Care bill survived. It is pretty much gutted of what would help poor folks get insurance when they don't belong to a big group and most of the stuff does not do anything until 2014...but at least it has passed. Republicans were mostly against Social Security too when Roosevelt passed that Bill!
Joe Foley's Trogans
Joe Foley is from Alpena. He coached at Tech under John Widner and after John retired he coached the Tech Sun's team for several years. Now he is at UALR coaching the Lady Trogans. This is their first ever trip to the NCAA tournment and they played Georgia Tech last evening. The Georgia Tech coach was talking in the paper about how hard it was to going to be to beat Oklahoma but now she will not have to worry about that. Joe Foley and his girls took that worry away and Georgia Tech can go back home and worry about Joe Foley's girls and the way they whipped them all over the court. I'm hoping Joe's girls can dance another round!

Picking Flowers
Siggie picked a bunch of my flowers and Astrid decorated her tree with them. I like Helen's poem. Here is a poem for you Helen! Glad you are doing ok.
For Helen
If I could, I'd comb the sky
and collect the stars,
quickly pile them into a basket
until it overflowed with silvery light.
And then I'd give the basket to you,
because all things precious
and beautiful
should be yours today."

Ho Ho Ho
New Backhoe!!!
This is a cavcd in celler. We need to move the mound of dirt. It is right out our back door and is
in the way. The dirt is good rich soil! Larry is going to make me some flower beds with the dirt.
This is dirt from the ditch by our road. We own the road. It is not the county's. Well, actually there was no ditch it was filled in with dirt. Again, it is good rich black dirt with no rocks. Larry put several bucketfuls around my new chicken pen as there were sinking places around the edge and one chicken got out the other day.
Health Care Bill Almost There
Who is against health care bill---those who are supported by insurance companies, and the companies themselves....and those folks that have scared to death with the lies.
The Bill that is about to pass has a lot of bad stuff in it along with some good. Most of the
really good stuff was murdered before the bill came to be. Some folks solution to any problem is
"oh, do nothing" just keep going along like we are going along. I sure hope ole Nancy can pull this vote off! Then I hope they can clean up this bill.

NetFlix
I subscribed to NetFlix. We get one movie at at a time, but I also set up the tv so we could watch all their free library. Last night I watched a documentary on chickens it was so good. Larry is watching old westerns.
