Going to the Pond

Cold today but at least dry.  Phinnie and I saw these pretty trees, leaves, and weeds on the way to the pond.

Ingrid Hanging With Friends

Don’t know what Ingrid and friends will do Halloween but Sigrid and her friend Ellie are headed to all the haunted houses.  L to R Katie Duran, Bailey McGill, Jessica O’Connor, and Ingrid. Clayton and Greta are staying home and watching movies.  They are buying their candy.  All growing up.  Each of my grands are polite, respectful, smart children.  They make me proud.

Ada is sick. I am hoping she will be better soon.

Feeding the Fish

Everyday Phinnie and I walk to the pond and feed the fish.  I mainly spot the gold fish we put in the pond.  They are about the size of my foot.  Hard to see the others but I see the water swirl when they grab a nugget of food.

Visitor

Eric’s Mom came for weekend visit.  These went to Fall Fest.  Ingrid was taking ACT.  Her highest score is 30, which is good.  But everyone point means better scholarship.

Laura said dreary weather dampened Fall Fest.

Trees are adding color.  Laura’s Maple is purple and mine is orange.
Laura and I went to the trail to walk yesterday.  There was this road block.

New Boots

Clayton’s old boots
My Clayton gave me his old boots!  They are perfect for my morning stroll to Galla Lake.  I paid him used price.  We are both happy. Clayton is in grade six and wears size 11.  Wow!

I saw this neat spider web today.  No way to escape that trap.  We know Jesus always gives us a way to escape evil.  Ask him to point your way.  He will.
1 Corinthians 10: 13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

Galla Lake was inspirational this morning.   Ducks were stopping over for a rest but they flew away when I approached.  I watched their flight in awe.  I was their evil and they fled from me.

1950’s Look

Sigrid nailed it.

Greta Today

Romans 6:4

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Sigrid’s New Dress

This is Sigrid’s dress for Colors Day.  I like her red shoes.  They came from Walmart.
