Sarah Elizabeth Renfroe 1874-1903
This was taken in 1903 in Ok. Sarah was born at Snowball, AR. She married Wm. Pinkney Phillips in 1890. This is one of the pictures Bonnie gave me. She said--"you know it is supposed to be taboo to take a photo of a dead person." I guess Mr. Phillips wanted to remember her. I see total saddness and despair on his face and also on the faces of the children.

Light Pole Perch
Siggie and I had fun watching the birds today. She stayed last night and is wonderful company. She had my binoculars around her neck while outside and saw some amazing things.
Blue Bird
On Presidents' Day, Larry and I went to Pea Ridge, AR to visit Ethel's first cousin, Bonnie Walker. Bonnie has been in a wheel chair since 1950. She is 77. I loved getting to see her again and cried when we drove away. She told me to take all her old, old Renfroe pictures as we were the only ones that would take care of them. She was 15 when she went out with friends near Bentonville, Ar. There was a wreck and Bonnie's back was injured.

Flock
I spied all these birds in the Meadow earlier this week.
I think they were traveling robins, but it was hard to see
for sure.
I get an extra day off this week as Monday is a holiday.
