Pea Picking

Tomorrow I am going to pick the green peas that are ready.  I sprayed the potatoes with seven and discovered some small potatoes I can dig and cook with my peas.   I will add a little cream.

Potatoes big enough to dig and scrape. Momma could do that so well.  I bet Patsy can do. I am horrible at cleaning them.  I recall we dug potatoes about the middle of July.  We were digging them the day Gilbert was born July 13th.  Down here they will be ready to dig at the end of this month.

The zucchini squash are growing, but I am having trouble with my yellow squash.  I have had 3 to die.  maybe a cut worn.  When the nights a cool, the cut worms at working.  Below is one of my cabbages.  I sprayed them with seven.  You can eat stuff sprayed with seven about 2 or 3 days afterward. It is a vegetable product.

Above is my okra and I have a good stand of it -- 2 rows.  Below my pumpkins are coming up.
