And I giggled about your idea that the lone shoe might have belonged to Shoeless Joe Jackson.
Actually, that intersection on University Avenue is quite near a place where the homeless gather. I'm thinking it might have been something that fell out of a cart or bag as someone crossed the road.
A birthday on Flag day...what an honorable daY! I bet those residents have everything to do with why it is up...the young folks done too much care any more.
