Something for Greg and Cheryl Ann

Davis Smith of White Hall was looking for a place to hunt on his new lease on Nov. 15
when he encountered the biggest buck of his life.

He made the most of his opportunity and bagged the biggest buck killed in Arkansas
for the 2008-2009 season. The giant nontypical had 23 scorable points and a rack
with an inside spread that measured23 inches. The main beams measured 29 5 /8
inches and 29 7 /8 inches. The thickest circumference on the main beams was 5 6 /8
inches. The smallest circumference was 4 5 /8 inches. Its live weight was 320 pounds,
and its age was 7 1/2 years old. Boone and Crockett score was 209 points.
