For Christmas I told Larry I would buy one of the carports for him to put tractors under. The one we bought is really too small for two vehicles and he decided we should have the carport to park our trucks under and he would move this old one.
I thought it sounded like huge job. We used the backhoe and the Mule. He chained one to each side. he picked up the sides and put timbers under them. Without something under the ends, the shed will just dig into the ground. We could only go about 3 or 4 feet and he would have to re-adjust the timbers. We have worked on this for two days and have had beautiful weather to be outside.
Slowly, we inched along until we got the shed where he liked it. It is right by the shed the pasture renter put in for the horse.
Larry put the black stuff down to keep grass out and then gravel on top. He has room for 4 tractors across and two deep. He used the tractor to straighten the sides so they are not "spaddled".

Very nice! Cliff never has enough room for his tractors and equipment.
Well done on moving the tractor shed. Looks like you have plenty of space to park all your equipment under it now and protect it from the elements. It looks like it took you guys a lot of time to move it especially because of adjusting those timbers every time. Well done on the completion, great bit of work, thanks.
