Mississippi IS Just a Trickle
Where the Mississippi is not mighty! Just a small stream! But as it flows over 2500 miles southward growing until bursts from it's banks fills the Gulf of Mexico.

Signals Of Fall
The Surprise Lilies are trumpets sounding "fall is coming". I see red leaves in the Maple trees. Summer is winding down. Sigrid and Greta and Clayton are getting prepared to return to school. 2018 summer--hot and humid--is near it's demise.
Clayton and Greta got new hairdos for the vacation trip--up, up, up the Mississippi to its trickle of head water! What a great education they will receive.
Astrid got good news concerning her Advanced Placement test. She does not have to take freshman English or psychology. Her AP art clas counted as college credit. They evaluated the portfolio she had to create of her work across a broad spectrum! She is getting the Galla house all fixed up and is loving her job at St. Mary's Hospital Fitness Center.
Sigrid has a swim meet this weekend. She will be trying out for the volleyball team. Ingrid will be babysitting after school again--maybe. She will be a Junior in HS. Clayton and Greta both head to new schools this fall. Harrison has a Middle School that includes 5th grade. Clayton will go there. Harrison closed the little neighborhood school Greta attended. She has been assigned to a new school--farther from her house but bigger! She told her Mom she was riding the school bus. We will see!

Braces Off and On
Siggie tried to trick us today. They took her braces off and repositioned them, but she sent the picture like--she was through, but I don't think so.
