Someone shared a photo of this old sign to my hometown’s FB site. My Dad is listed at the bottom of the first column—Willis Powell🇺🇸 and there next to him is our dear old neighbor, Virgil Morris. The sign was put up after 4-4-44 because that’s the day Daddy enlisted. He had a wife and two little children plus one on the way. He did his duty.
