I read Ina’s book this week. I enjoyed it. She’s been involved in lots of different endeavors. Her childhood was unhappy. It was a book I could read.Fleta’s baby turned 50 yesterday. This fall at almost 78 she’s retiring. She a quiet storm really. She’s had an amazing life. She deserves a little time of not hitting the grind each day. Helen and I teased her this week with texts that said— when you retire you can get chickens and sell eggs. She hates chickens! Then Helen said when you retire you can get a jersey cow and sell milk! Then…you have a good lawn mower thus you could mow laws. I chimed in that she could clean houses. She sent us a picture of some blocks saying— you are blocked. I know she’ll read more, she won’t rise at 4 a.m., she work on our family tree, and just like she’s done her entire life she’ll do what SHE wants.
I went to the DR. yesterday. The beta blocker has kept my blood pressure in line and helped my vein health, but it’s left me too tired to do much. I’m going to try an ace inhibitor for two months and compare how the two work for me. I’ll be taking a blood pressure medicine for the rest of my life. The med I’m to take is enalapril.
