We got over half inch of rain Friday and cooler weather came again. I am thankful.
Sweet Gum leaves are falling. They are one of the first to turn color and also cover the ground. The oak leaves seem to hold on the longest. A week of September has passed.
We're getting some rain too and THUNDER--which is unusual for us. I don't like the humidity much though. Still, it will only be a matter of time before it's sweatshirt weather. You're losing leaves way before us although ours are turning. Cooler nights I presume.
