Driving at Night

Tomorrow night I want to go to the Russellville Library and hear Russell Baker speak. He is a researcher of one of my main family lines—Standridge. It starts at 5:30. It would be really dark at 5. I think I can do it. It will be dark when it’s over but surely I can make it home. I have trouble seeing at night.
Each year for my anniversary, Laura gets me a new calendar. Larry and I would be married 55 years this January 8th, but I think WE only had 49 anniversaries. I love my calendaršŸ¤

Look at how Kenny has grown. He is so cute and loves people.

Monday when I returned to Silver Sneakers, my friend Wanda wasn’t there. A friend told me she fell. She’s the one I made the hats for because she burned her hair off lightening the gas fireplace. Her son moved her to assisted living near me. I stopped and found her room. We had the best visit. Her arm injury looked horrible. Luckily, an aide saw her fall and came to help her. I will try to visit once a week. She said she’d love a blue hat. šŸ˜‡I’ll make one.
